Susan Allen Presents at the International Spy Museum

Susan Allen, author of Classical Spies, spoke recently at the International Spy Museum in Washington, D. C. Classical Spies follows a very particular history of espionage in World War II Greece - the lives of archaeologists with code names like Vulture and Chickadee and their efforts to provide intelligence to the Allies while carrying on their studies as a cover. The story was compiled from first hand accounts from the American professors and scholars, as well as previously unpublished diaries, photographs and letters.
