Paul Combs discusses Tadd Dameron on ‘All Things Considered’

Paul Combs, jazz musician and author of the recently published Dameronia: The Life and Music of Tadd Dameron, contributed to a recent feature on the life and music of bebop composer Tadd Dameron on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” As noted in the piece, Dameron, who was born into a musical family in Cleveland in 1917, “worked with everyone who was anyone in jazz, from Miles Davis to Artie Shaw, Count Basie to John Coltrane.” Read more about Dameronia, the first authoritative biography of Dameron, here, and listen to the full NPR piece on Dameron here.
